Sunset Hoop Jam

 Hoop Jams are a fun, free way to learn about hoop dance, meet people, learn new tricks, and get fit all in a fun outdoor setting. Bring your hoop, family and friends—All ages!! Hoops will be available for demo and sale.  If you have drums bring them for the drum circle!! 

BEGINNER’S HOOP CLASS  

 April 19th, 10am at Kama’ole Beach Park 3 in Kihei, Maui

This will be an hour long Beginner’s/Foundational Hoopdance class series .  Want to learn how to hoopdance?  What to lose weight, tone your body, while having fun, laughing and playing outside?  Already a hooper, but want to become more grounded in your practice? 

Welcome to a new revolution in dance and fitness!!  You will learn how to hoop on your waist, hips and hands while fully articulating your entire body.  You will learn tricks and  off-body moves that will surprise yourself as well as your friends.  We will be hooping on the great lawn, outside to the backdrop the gorgeous  Kam 3 beach.   

Bring your hoop if you have one, if not, hoops will be provided.  Come dressed in natural fibers, shorts and tank tops are perfect.  The hoop adheres better to skin or natural fibers.  Bring lots of water and a hoopy attitude!! 

Classes are $12 per class.  If you would like to buy a class pack– 5-classes for $50..that’s $10 a class that is available as well.

Come this Saturday to the Valley Isle Keiki Fest on the Great Lawn of UH-MC.  It starts at 11am until 4pm.  This year’s them is “Celebrating the Keiki-April the month of the Young Child.” 

 The purpose of the Keiki Fest is to provide our community with an event having free, fun activities for children, while offering products at a cost lower than market value. Food and refreshments are available at low costs while FREE events include bouncing castles, clowns, and a keiki zone with games and prizes.

hoopnatyze will be there with a table selling hoops, giving demos, doing an interactive performance at 1:35.  During the performance time there will be a hula-hoop contest and someone will walk away with a FREE HOOP!!!

April Fool’s FIRST FRIDAYS in Wailuku, Maui off Market Street from 5:00-8:30pm. Come hoop it up with hoopnatyze…there will be live music, hoop demonstrations, Hoops For SALE and hoops to play with plus ‘ono food, crafts, a poetry slam and more…

Come on out,  it’s hoopy fun for the whole family!!!!!
